Background & History

FLANEUR ARCHITECTS PTY LTD was founded in 2014 by Steven Crawford and was originally known as STEVEN CRAWFORD ARCHITECTS PTY LTD. Between 2014 & 2016 the company was involved with high end residential developments, retail renovations & social housing. In 2016 Henriëtte Postma joined the company as co-director and the decision was taken to re-brand the company as FLANEUR ARCHITECTS PTY and added warehousing, multi level parkades, guard houses, clubhouses and multi-family residential to the portfolio. Brendan Saunders joined the company in 2018 and has led the studio since then. Also, in 2018 a strategic partnership was formed with Louis Cottle & Frans Bergh from Cottle Bergh Architects in order to strengthen the companies’ footprint in the market.
